Lane Farm Country Foods+ Christmas 2012
Lane farm is a family farming business situated in the heart of Suffolk producing exciting and delicious goodies from their home produced pork.
Somebody once wrote “There is nothing fancy about Ian and Sue whitehead they are just a hard working couple dedicated to producing great food”
We began our farming career back in 1987 and have always been inspired by people who love and produce great food. This led us to convert an old dairy into a small butchery where we could make our own sausages and bacon. Our business has grown steadily over the years and we have managed to win some awards. We are very proud of our products love experimenting on new ideas and today our range includes sausages, bacon, hams, smoked products, air dried salami, chorizo and pancetta. 2013 is going to be an exciting year so watch this space.
All our pork is born outside and then reared and finished in open straw barns the best place to be on a cold and wet miserable day.
We have two daughters and Rebecca has recently joined us full time and is bringing us into the 20th century. We now have a twitter account (@lanefarm) so many of you will be able to keep up to date with all that’s new at Lane farm. Our other daughter Sarah is also working with food and loving her new job in London
