Suffolk Producer of the Year Award
WE WON!!
We went to a lovely lunch at Ickworth Hall on the 2nd October after which the awards for all the categories were read out. Ian and I were so nervous especially as we were against two very good Sufffolk business'. Then Mark David read out Lane Farm Country Foods as the winners... so exciting.
A big, BIG, thank you to all who voted for us. We would not have got through to the final round with out your support. Thank you again.

Guild of Fine Foods, Great Taste Awards 2008
Another wonderful piece of news for us and our lovely Pork, Apple and Apricot sausage... We won a Triple Gold Star for this sausage in the Great Taste Awards which is organised each year by the Guild of Fine Foods (www.finefoodworld.co.uk) and our super Old Oxford (with a mix of cracked black pepper, onion and lemon zest) on a Gold Award.
SEMI DRIED CHORIZO
Another new product which Ian has developed is our Semi Dried Chorizo and is sold under our Suffolk Salami "banner". Delia Smith has developed a recepie for this which is really tasty and can be found in the Telegraph Magazine on the 27th September. google search Suffolk Chorizo - link to www.telegraph.co. - one of Delia's Delights. We can supply this by mail order and as a special offer to go with this recepie we can send out three of our chorizo (minimum weight 220 grams for the three) for £12 to include packing and postage by recorded delivery. Alternatively I can send 1 Kilo at £35.50, again to include postage byrecorded delivery.
