Earlier this year Lane Farm Country Foods entered their Pork Apple and Apricot sausage into the National BPEX British Sausage Week 2014 competition and have reached the final. British Sausage week takes place from the 3rd November until the 9th November and is an annual celebration
of the taste, quality and diversity of the traditional British Banger. British Sausage Week involves everyone from your local butcher to retailers and has also gained the support of Ex England Rugby Legend Phil Vickery who plays an active role in promoting British Sausages. Ian and daughter Rebecca will be heading up to the Worshipful Company of Butchers in London on the 31st October where they will find out who has won. “We feel very honored to even make it this far and feel that British Sausage week is a great way of creating awareness of the quality that we have herein Britain”.
